It was a quick excursion out into the night to find a lost horse and to dodge the drunken ramblings of a conspiracy-driven uncle.  It became a night of mystery - what were those lights and rumblings? - and of horror - what is that creature silhouetted against the trees? - where looks turn out to be deceiving.
