[INDEV] The Pirates of the Fade

(This project is VERY early stages and being written in-between revising The Automatons of Oleander Isle, but I'm having so much fun with it that I wanted to go ahead and make a page for it)

The Pirates of the Fade is an upcoming nautical/steampunk/magical-girl fantasy novel from the creator of Clash: Robot Detective.  

"The Gulf is a huge and wide body of saltwater surrounded by land.  As humans build bigger and stronger ships to cross the vast Gulf, their gunk and junk keeps polluting the life below the waves.  Five sea creatures - Lorelei the mermaid, Finley the whale shark, Jetti the moray eel, Chilley the octopus, and Polly the parrotfish - become chosen as the Gulf's protectors.  As they fight back against sailors and pirates to protect their home, tensions rise.  Can this newfound crew pull together in harmony?  Or will they sink in their own drama and despair?"

...or at least, that's what the story looks like so far.  It is essentially the author writing a story specifically for herself and any potential readers are along for the ride.  Will this one be published (other than being uploaded here)?  Unknown.  Will this one be too weird?  Probably but oh well.
