First Draft Completed!

So the good news is, I just finished the first draft!  The bad news is, its 72 pages.  I really expected it to be longer.

I am going to be putting the project aside to get Blue Mirage mostly done.  Finish the first round of writing, then go ahead and sync visuals and sound.  Once that project is ready for revisions, I'll set it aside and start working on this book's second draft!

I've already got some things I want to change up.  I mentioned changing the setting to an industrial factory in the last update.  Some other changes include Bronte either becoming a skeletal cat or a skeletal raven rather than the one-legged abomination she currently is, introducing dragons that are reminiscent of 19th century dinosaur designs, fight scenes, themes about life and death, a trip to the afterlife, and a lot more weird stuff.

My next two field research trips are a journey back to the same site I went to for the first research trip to learn about herbal teas and their usage, and a venture to a local steampunk festival.

Anyway, there we go.  Big milestone accomplished!
