Welcome to HUNT3R!

Here we go again, setting up a page and weekly updates for another game about a woman getting romantically involved with a machine!

HUNT3R was inspired by a movie called Starcrash.  This bizarre Star Wars ripoff had some great chemistry between a criminal woman and a police robot, going from enemies to close friends over the course of the movie.  It was a neat dynamic.  I wanted to take my own stab at said dynamic.  I also had a setting-related plot-twist that I really really REALLY wanted to use (not spoiling that one just yet, wait and see).  And I'd been wanting to learn RPG Maker MV anyway, so this little story seemed like the one to try it out on.

Plan is to get a demo made by May 14th, but I might not be able to make that deadline.  My full-time job has given me a lot more responsibilities (this is a good thing!), and I don't think I'll be able to dedicate a lot of time or energy to game dev until the job ends later this month (this is not so much a good thing).  After that point, I switch from a full-time job to a part-time internship and should logically have way more time to go full-speed on development.  So whether the demo gets released in a couple of weeks or not, development is going to be slow in May and then take off in June!

The game should release June 30th, and is being made for Otome Jam.  The game will be free its first week of release, and then go to $4.99.  It's going to be made a staple of the Robotic Love Bundle alongside Amethyst Hearth and Colony Ship CORAL STARS during various sales, as well.

I'll have a big devlog every week updating what all happened.  For smaller, daily updates will be available on my Twitter.  Stay tuned to watch the game (and this page, which is admittedly really sad-looking at the moment) grow!
